One of the most exciting places in the world – Las Vegas… who hasn’t heard of the gambling capital of the world. When I was in India, I had heard about this place and Hollywood movies had made it an enchanting place for any movie fan. When I was in Los Angeles, and was thinking of touring the area, my landlord highly recommended that I visit Vegas at least once. Of course, he didn’t need to advise me again. अगर अपनी स्मरण शक्ति पर किंचित भी भरोसा करूँ तो ताली ठोक के इस बात को तो कह ही सकता हूँ की ये घटना आपके साथ भी गुज़री होगी अगर आपने पांवटा साहिब में शिक्षा दीक्षा ली है तो . भले डी.ए.वी  हो, गुरूनानक हो, सरस्वती हो, या तारुवाला हम सबकी क्लासेज में एक आर्ट की क्लास जरूर होती थी. उस आर्ट की क्लास की अध्यापिका हमें हमेशा उस सफ़ेद ए 4 साइज के पेपर पर एक सीनरी बनाने को कहती थी. मुझे यकीन है की वह सीनरी हम सब ने बनायीं है. उस सीनरी में सबसे पहले एक पहाड़ बनता था, तीन पहाड़ों के बीच में एक सूरज बनाया जाता था, उसमें से किरणे भी बहती थी. किसी की सीधी, किसी की टेढ़ी मेंढ़ी।  पहाड़ों  के ठीक नीचे एक झोपड़ी बनती थी. कुछ हरे पेड़ थे, और पर्वतोँ से निकल कर झोपड़ी के पास से गुज़रती, ए 4 साइज के सफ़ेद पन्ने  के कोने में न जाने कहाँ खो जाने वाली एक नीली सी नदी. जो ये तथाकथित सीनरी जल्द बना लेते थे वो उसे और बघार देने के लिए और अपने हिसाब से खूबसूरत बनाने के लिए उसमें आसमान बना देते थे और कुछ तो खाली बैठे  बैठे सितारे तक बना देते थे. बचपन की खूबसूरती यही है, भले सूरज के...
